TERMS AND CONDITIONS

At Inessa Empire, we are dedicated to setting the benchmark in the loc industry, encompassing loc starter methods, maintenance, extensions, and exemplary customer service. We offer the Inessa Empire (IE) Experience, honed over decades, ensuring each salon visit leaves you eagerly anticipating your next.

By booking an appointment or purchasing from us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. PAYMENT

We accept payment via cash, debit, and credit cards.

Full or partial advance payment (deposit) is required to secure all appointments. The amount may vary depending on the service(s) requested. No appointment is confirmed until payment is received.

We reserve the right to request full payment in advance at our discretion.

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.


2. APPOINTMENTS, DEPOSITS & TIME ALLOCATION

All services are booked for specific time slots and stylists. These slots are reserved exclusively for you.

Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or rescheduling. Full charges may still apply.


3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance: deposit may be transferred once
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: up to 100% of the booking fee may be retained
  • Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings

4. NO-SHOW POLICY

Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice will be treated as a no-show.

In such cases:

  • 100% of the booking amount will be charged or retained, and
  • Future bookings may be declined

5. REFUNDS (SERVICES)

While we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction, all salon services are non-refundable.

Due to the nature of our business—where time, preparation, and scheduling are allocated exclusively—refunds will not be issued for:

  • Missed appointments
  • Late cancellations
  • Change of mind

If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must notify us within 48 hours of your appointment. We may, at our discretion, offer a corrective service where appropriate.


6. LEGAL NOTICE – SERVICE BOOKINGS

In accordance with UK law, services booked for a specific date or time (including salon appointments) are exempt from standard cancellation (cooling-off) rights.

By confirming your booking, you:

  • Acknowledge that your appointment is time-specific
  • Agree to our cancellation and no-show policy
  • Waive any statutory cooling-off rights applicable to distance contracts

7. PRODUCT REFUND POLICY

We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on the following:

  • Opened packages of Loc Extensions and/or Afro Kinky Hair
  • Products that have been used, washed, installed, chemically processed, dyed, or tampered with
  • Hair styling products, shampoos, oils
  • Mannequins, virtual classes, training programmes
  • Sale items

All product sales are considered final unless faulty.


8. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

By booking with Inessa Empire, you agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes.

In the event of a dispute, we reserve the right to present:

  • This Terms & Conditions agreement
  • Booking confirmations
  • Communication records

We further reserve the right to recover any outstanding amounts, including administrative and legal costs.


9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate consultation details
  • Disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions
  • Follow all aftercare instructions

We are not responsible for outcomes where relevant information has not been disclosed.


10. SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CONSENT

We enjoy sharing updates from our salon. By visiting us, you may be photographed or recorded for marketing purposes.

If you prefer not to have your image used, please inform us prior to or during your visit.


11. PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and will not sell, disclose, or share it with third parties except where required by law.


12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Inessa Empire shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service or product

13. COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARKS & CONTENT

All content on www.inessaempire.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and code, is the property of Inessa Empire and protected under applicable copyright laws.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution may result in legal action.


14. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client displaying inappropriate, abusive, or unsafe behaviour.


15. POLICY CHANGES

We reserve the right to modify our services, prices, and policies at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
