Inessa Empire (IE) was founded in 2005 by Inessa, a creative and talented visionary who sets the highest standard for your locs journey.
Our mission is to build a professional team of locticians, redefine the perception of locs, and establish the industry’s benchmark for excellence. We aim to create a luxury salon experience, develop the finest natural and organic products, and educate our clients on how to best care for their locs.
We specialize in locing all hair textures, from straight to curly, wavy, and kinky.

Yes we do recommend booking an appointment for a consultation through the Appointment section of our website if you feel it’s necessary or you have extra long hair. This will allow us to better assist you when you come in.
Unfortunately, we do not accept walk-ins. All services are available by appointment only.
NOPE!! Not at INESSA EMPIRE you don’t have to cut your hair unless you want to. We have various Starter Loc techniques and Loc Extensions to start locs on processed and / or heat damaged hair. More than likely you will have to get Instant Starter Locs if you don’t have a defined curl pattern.

Depending on how tight your curl pattern, desired loc size, and desired starter loc technique, you will need 2-6 inches of hair to start locs. The looser your curl pattern, the longer it will need to be to start the locing process.
